Are you going to be a spring bride? Here are some decor and style ideas just for you!

Spring can be a great time to exchange your vows. As the world around you is in a state of awakening, what better time than now to get married? Spring lends its own unique charm to weddings and celebrations: think sundresses, reciting your vows in a garden and pretty pastel colors.

Spring Wedding Color Schemes

When choosing colors for your spring wedding, keep in mind that you want to stay away from the bright jewel-toned colors of winter and instead, turn your attention to the soft pale pinks, blues and even polka dot or gingham patterns. Other colors that work well are melon orange, hot pink and lavender.

Spring Wedding Flower Choices

Choosing your floral bouquets doesn't have to be hard. Think outside the box and ask yourself what flower motif you would associate with spring? Popular choices include gerbera daisies (which come in a variety of spring color choices), peony, tulip, lilac, iris, hyacinth and daffodil. Again, you want to stick with bright colors like yellow and paler shades like pink and purple, as these will accent the season. Floral wreaths are also a perfect way to incorporate spring flowers into your wedding.

Spring Wedding Decor

Spring wedding themes can be carried over to all of the decorations and will keep a congruent style. Some spring style ideas include: butterflies, daisies or birds, as these represent the essence of spring. You can apply the style to everything from your invitations, to your favors and even your cake. Another fun way to incorporate the springtime theme into your wedding is to do a butterfly release.

Spring Wedding Fashion

Spring wedding fashions tend to be casual and fun. Think simple sundresses for the maids and the bride can punch up the color in her gown by tying a bright ribbon or sash around the waist area of the dress. Sash colors can be customized to match the palette of your wedding. For the men in your wedding party, don't be afraid to incorporate color into their ties. A splash of brightness can really make a huge impact on your attire.

Spring Wedding Stationery

Have fun with your save-the-dates, invitations, place cards and announcements. Don't be afraid of using color and a matching theme. Also, using some fun font styles will reflect the whimsical spring feel of your wedding. Spring is all about color, so keep your paper items as colorful as possible.

Spring Wedding Menu

Your guests are not going to want to eat a heavy meal in the spring. Your best choices when preparing the menu is to go with things like chilled coup for an appetizer, spring lamb with baby vegetables for the main course and beverages like lemonade, iced tea and sangria. As far as your wedding cake, think about keeping the consistency light. A good choice is strawberry shortcake topped with fondant and fresh strawberries.

Spring Wedding Favors

Keeping with the theme of fun, casual spring weddings some good options for guest favors include personalized packaged seeds that your guests can plant or even a potted plant or flower that will bloom every spring. Individual flower bud vases that are personalized with your names and wedding date are another excellent favor option.

With all these wonderful and pretty possibilities, it's no wonder spring is a popular time to say "I do". Consider summer, fall and winter wedding possibilities as well.
